Description
Small Diameter Titanium Rod For Medical
Titanium Grade 5 is the aerospace grade and is not cold formable, so it is used more often when no forming is needed. Grade 5 alloy will have ultimate tensile strength at and above 895 Mpa. TC4/ Grade 5 titanium alloy has poor stamping property and good thermoplasticity. Welding can be carried out in various forms. The strength of the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the base metal. The machinability is good. It needs cemented carbide cutter, large tool size, slow speed and full cooling. Good corrosion resistance and thermal stability. TC4 titanium alloy is one of the most widely used titanium alloys. Parts for long-term work below 400℃.
